Consumer credit cards
A credit card may be simple for the applicant to use, but the work required to open the account can vary widely by program. appTRAKER supports those differences through application, underwriting, verification, documents and the handoff to the card system.
Consumer workflows can support:
The lender configures the credit policy, authority and information required for each program.
Business credit cards
A business application introduces the entity and the people connected to it. Business-card workflows can collect the parties and information the lender requires:
Each program can follow its own path instead of reusing the consumer checklist. Lenders running wider commercial credit can read how the same foundation carries business lending.
A secured-card alternative
Where lender policy permits, an unsecured-card application can route to a secured-card alternative for evaluation.
A configured workflow can route the application for the appropriate review, present the alternative where permitted, collect any additional information and continue through documents and downstream account opening.
The lender defines the eligibility, disclosure, deposit and account-opening requirements. The lender defines alternative-offer policy, terms, disclosures and approval authority.
A community bank runs all three programs on one implementation — read the case study.
Applications and offers
myLOAN can support consumer and business card applications, pre-approved opportunities, document upload, consent, disclosures and applicant follow-up.
Applications may also enter through staff, an authorized API or another configured source. Each source can share the same application record while using the communication and review path appropriate to it.
Underwriting and verification
Configured rules can evaluate program eligibility, credit information, requested limit, risk tier, pricing, approval authority, verification and stipulations, with autoBOUGHT applying the lender policy.
Eligible applications can move automatically. Applications requiring business documents, identity review, fraud review, an exception or higher authority can route to staff with the relevant information.
Separate task sets allow consumer, business and secured-card programs to ask for the work that actually applies.
Documents and communication
Origination ends at the card-system handoff
appTRAKER manages application, underwriting, verification, decision, documents and approval, then hands the approved account information to the card-issuing and servicing platform.
At the defined handoff, supported interfaces can send approved applicant, business, limit, program and document information to the card or core system responsible for account creation and servicing.
Why appTRAKER for credit card origination?
Build credit card origination around your products
You define which card products you offer, whether an application is consumer or business, whether a card is secured or unsecured, and which credit bureau and scorecard you use.
You define how credit limits are determined, what qualifies for automated approval, what requires human review, what documentation a business must provide, whether an applicant can receive an alternative offer and which system ultimately issues and services the card.
appTRAKER provides the configurable origination foundation for putting those decisions into operation.

Can consumer and business card applications use different workflows?
Yes. Each program can have its own parties, data, credit review, tasks, documents, approval authority and downstream mapping.
Can a lender offer a secured card after an unsecured decline?
A configured alternative-product workflow can support that process when it matches the lender policy and program requirements.
Can card applications be automated?
Yes. Lenders define the criteria for approval, decline, referral, verification and manual review.
Can appTRAKER recommend a credit limit or card program?
Configured rules and scorecards can evaluate applicant information, requested limits, credit data, product criteria and other lender-defined factors to support program and structure recommendations.
Does appTRAKER support business-card documentation?
Yes. Business workflows can require and track lender-defined documentation involving business formation, EIN, beneficial ownership, signers, guaranties, financial information and other applicable requirements.
Does appTRAKER support adverse action?
Yes. appTRAKER can support lender-configured adverse-action reasons, workflows, correspondence, decision history and related origination processes.
Does appTRAKER issue or process credit cards?
No. appTRAKER is a credit origination platform, not a card transaction-processing or card-servicing platform. It manages the application and credit-origination process and can hand approved applications to the card, core, account-opening or other downstream environment.
Can credit cards operate alongside other lending products?
Yes. Card programs can run in the same appTRAKER environment as personal loans, auto, home equity, leasing and specialty lending, each keeping its own rules, documents and workflow.
