PHP Application Developer

LAUNCHER.SOLUTIONS is a technology products and services company specializing in loan origination for subprime/near-prime automotive lending institutions, regional banks, and credit unions. Our product offerings include appTRAKER LOS for indirect automotive lending as well as consumer direct lending and leasing, myDEALER.CARE dealer relationship management system, and myACCOUNT.CARE customer self-service and communication solution.

We are seeking a Full Stack PHP web application developer to join our development team. You will be focused on enhancing the current features of our platform, maintaining existing modules and building new features. You will be involved in the development of both the user interface as well as the back-end services and API integrations.

This is a Full-time, Fully Remote opportunity job with benefits. We are flexible in accommodating your work-life balance requirements. Salary based on experience and qualifications. Annual raises and bonus based on performance.

You may be located anywhere but willing to work standard office hours in one of these US time zones ( Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific ).

Responsibilities:

    • Build responsive interfaces utilizing HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery.
    • Work with a PHP MVC framework to develop web applications and services.
    • Integrate data into applications from various data sources including databases, web services, and APIs.
    • Develop high quality, optimized and secure code.
    • Test, debug, and document software according to the functional requirements.
    • Work and communicate in a professional team environment.
    • Collaborate with the team and with company partners in troubleshooting, design, and interoperability.
    • Enrich your ongoing knowledge and skills via courses, webinars, and self-study.

Requirements:

    • Experience developing complex web applications using PHP.
    • Strong knowledge of web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, and AJAX.
    • Experience with writing optimized SQL.
    • Experience with development within an MVC Framework like Symphony, Laravel, CodeIgniter or Zend.
    • Experience with HTML framework like Bootstrap.
    • Familiarity with creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
    • Familiarity with Linux environments with good command-line knowledge.
    • Working knowledge of Version Control Systems.
    • Knowledge of other programming languages like Java and Python is a plus.
    • Familiarity with AWS Product APIs like S3, SQS, Elasticsearch, etc is a plus.

Application Support Specialist

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing an excellent and professional experience to our customers by troubleshooting and resolving application issues with a sense of urgency.You may also be involved in hands-on implementation and training the customers regarding best use of Launcher’s products.

This is a Full-time, Fully Remote opportunity job with benefits. We are flexible to accommodate your work-life requirements.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide all 1st level contact for incoming customer calls or requests.
    • Accurately and proactively creating, following-up on and resolving customer tickets through our internal ticketing system.
    • Testing and reproducing client issues in non-production environments to determine root problems and support resolution.
    • Identifying and collaborating with internal staff to escalate issues appropriately while still providing timely customer follow-up.
    • Product Implementation through requirements discovery, project management, vendor management, training ( via webinars or onsite ) and support.
    • Helping the product development through engagement with the development team, product testing and documenting requirements.
    • Effectively work with customers to address issues and change requests.
    • Report to your manager with weekly actions and results.
    • Diagnosing and resolving routine yet complex technical and production issues.
    • Supporting and contributing to team goals by continuously improving response and resolution time.
    • Creating and documenting new procedures when standard procedures have failed, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Create and maintain release notes to be sent to clients regarding updates to our software system.

Requirements:

    • Experience in the Lending industry is a big plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • One or more of these skills will be needed: Advanced Excel, SQL, JS , HTML, JSON.
    • Excellent customer service and people skills.
    • Excellent deductive reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Prior experience with web application support is desired.
    • Strong customer focus.
    • Flexibility in work hours to accommodate customer support requirements. This may include, at times, certain Saturday shifts and weekday evening shifts.
    • Some travel may be required.

Solutions Sales Specialist

Our product offerings include appTRAKER LOS for indirect automotive lending as well as consumer direct lending and leasing, myDEALER.CARE dealer relationship management system, and myACCOUNT.CARE customer self-service and communication solution. 

We are seeking a Solutions Specialist to join our team. You will reach out to potential leads, help them understand the solutions provided by Launcher and convert these potential leads to customers. You will also be involved in hands-on implementation of the product through requirements discovery, project management of the implementation and ongoing engagement with customers regarding best use of the Launcher’s products.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity job with benefits. We are flexible to accommodate your work-life requirements. You will qualify for commissions and bonuses based on your performance.

Responsibilities:

    • Initiate telephone and email contact with potential prospects from various lead sources, including but not limited to: Website, Online events, Trade shows, 3rdParty Vendors, Social Media
    • Record prospect information into CRM database.
    • Present our product to potential clients via web meeting or in person.
    • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate product features.
    • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
    • Product Implementation through requirements discovery, project management, vendor management, training and support.
    • Helping the product development through engagement with the development team, product testing and documenting requirements.
    • Effectively work with customer to address issues and change requests.
    • Report to your manager with weekly actions and results.

Requirements:

    • Experience in the Lending Finance industry, preferably in various loan origination roles (underwriter/verifier).
    • Familiar about the fintech space, SaaS and Web API concepts.
    • Able to connect business needs to solutions.
    • Exceptional phone and presentation skills.
    • Confidence and ability to engage with C Level executives at Financial Institutions.
    • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Some travel may be required.
